Small Groups
Intentional spiritual growth in community is crucial for our walk with Jesus: Opening God’s Word, sharing our hearts, and praying for one another is HUGE! (“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” - Prov. 27:17) Groups give us the opportunity to plug into each other’s lives and help each other to follow Jesus faithfully.

EXPLORE THE BIBLE ADULT STUDY
SUNDAYS 9:00 AM
Join us each week for a study of God’s Word using the “Explore the Bible” series as our guide, helping us understand and apply God’s Word book-by-book in a manner that is practical, sustainable, and thorough. A number of our seasoned saints attend this group, but all ages are welcome! This fall we’re in the book of Romans (Meeting room 1).
THE VINE
3RD SUNDAYS 3:00 PM
Join us each month for a deeper discussion of what Pastor Larry has been covering in the Sunday teaching series. This fall we’ll be in the Gospel of John. Reviewing the Scriptures and main teaching points that we’re covering as a church will help grow you deeper in your walk with the Lord. Meets at the church facility (Meeting room 2).
IRON SHARPENS IRON MEN’S SMALL GROUP
1ST AND 3RD MONDAYS 6:30PM
Men walking with one another across generations for the sake of our walk with Jesus. We are just beginning a new Bible book study picked out by the guys through Ecclesiastes, discovering real purpose in a God-centered life, (Meeting room 1).
WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP
TUESDAYS 1:00 PM
Get connected with others, make new friendships, and go deeper with the Lord during our new study in the book of Matthew this September. Come and explore anew the life and teachings of Jesus alongside other women (Meeting room 1).
THE BRIDGE
TUESDAYS 6:00PM-7:30PM (EVERY OTHER WEEK BEGINNING SEPT 15)
Community for middle aged adults (30s to 50’s), sharing a meal together, encouraging and praying for one another. This fall we’re going through the classic marriage study by Francis & Lisa Chan “You and Me Forever” with a brief video teaching and discussion time. Meets at the home of Larry and Carol Sheahan (indicate your interest on the connect form at the bottom of this page). Childcare provided.
YOUNG ADULTS
WEDNESDAYS 6:30PM
Come out and connect with other young adults (18-30): We meet Wednesday evenings September-May. This fall we’re taking a look together at the Bible book of Mark, the brief and action-packed biography of Jesus’ life. Meeting @ Andrew’s house (1145 Volente Lane). Contact Andrew or Ethan (ethan@crystallake.church) to grab coffee and learn more about what God’s doing in our group!
GIFTED
WEDNESDAYS 6:30 PM
We all have unique passions, gifts, and talents hardwired into us by God to make an impact with our one life on this planet. Join Pastor Larry on a 9-week journey this fall of discovering how he has GIFTED YOU - your role in the growth of his Church for the fame of Jesus’ name! We’ll meet each week beginning Sept. 16 (Meeting room 1).

2ND AND 4TH FRIDAYS @ 10:00AM
Led and hosted by Pete & Betty Garcia at their home (1207 Wigwam), this group for our 60+ crew is a wonderful opportunity to get connected in community with others! This fall we’re walking through the study “The Buzzards Are Circling, But God’s Not Finished With Me Yet,” a delightful collection of stories and life lessons where you'll discover how you can experience hope, joy, and peace even in life's most trying times.
